Technical spec of a Scion TC. How much power do you need?

Who makes Scion? Scion is a lower version of Toyota just like you have the top of the line Acura and the lower Honda version. Same cars just a few more bells and whistles.

The Scion TC comes with a 2.4-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC) 16-valve EFI with Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence (VVT-i) technology, plus a compression ratio of 9.6:1 to produce 161 hp @ 5,700 rpm and 163 lb.-ft. @ 4,000 rpm. If this isn't enough power Scion offers customizability to their customers providing TRD racing performance parts and accessories. Cold air-intakes, superchargers, engine covers, strut bars, rims, tires and many other TRD performance parts are available. Instead of buying after-market parts and voiding your warranty, have Scion install the TRD performance parts for you. Less hassle and you'll keep your 36 months/36,000 mile basic warranty, 60 month/60,000 mile power-train warranty, and 60 months unlimited miles rust-through warranty.

The Scion TC does not just offer considerable power for its' class of car but also boasts low emissions, low noise levels, and an impressive fuel economy. Manual five speed transmissions are rated at 23 city/30 highway miles, and four speed automatics at 23 city/31 highway.

The Scion TC comes with 47 comfort & convenience, exterior, audio, safety, and performance standard features.

With the long list of available standard features and power house performance in its class, the TC comes at an affordable price, depending on how many accessories you need. The base price for a manual is $17,620 and a automatic is $18,420. If you want to see what your Scion TC will cost go to the Scion website and build your own.

I love the looks, the car attracts a crowd anywhere it's parked. Although it's not a sports car, it's fast enough to be fun to drive. The sun roof is my favorite feature. The stereo sounds as good as many after market systems.
